Making of Solar E Cycle with Introduction, Abstract  and Index

An attempt is made to manufacture a solar powered bicycle system (bicycle or cycle) for a two-wheeled vehicle.

There are so many vehicles that came to influence the existing world. Its operating systems are based on the usual system of fossil fuels. In the current sense fossil fuel can only exceed for a certain period after we have to go for a change to other methods. Therefore, we have made an attempt to design and manufacture a definitive system (solar bicycle) that would produce the result cheaper and effective than the existing system. This will be very useful for the future needs of the world.
This works on the electrical power distributed by the DC electric motor that receives the current from a solar. The engine and various parts are such as pinion, chain mount, bicycle and with readily available materials to serve.

The normal bicycle drive system does not change. This system is a two-in-one system. The bicycle is operated by
1. Pedal manually
2. Solar and engine drive mechanism.

All vehicles on the market cause pollution and the cost of fuel is also increasing day by day. To compensate for the fluctuating cost of fuel and to reduce pollution, a good remedy is necessary, that is, our transport system.
Due to the ignition of hydrocarbon fuels in the vehicle, some time difficulties such as wear may be greater and more attention is needed for proper maintenance. Our vehicle is easy to handle and has no fuel cost for other existing vehicles. Therefore, it was thought of the need for a change in the existing alternative system that can produce greater efficiency at minimal cost, an attempt has been made to design and manufacture such an alternative system.
"Solar bicycle" is very useful as it is provided with good quality of power sources and simple operating mechanism. So "every drop of fuel saves our economy and meets the needs" is the saturation point that must be reached as soon as possible. To achieve this saturation point we have to save and look for some other source of power. This power, the alternative power must be much more convenient in availability and use. The next important reason for pursuing an effective and unadulterated power is to save the surrounding environments, including men, machine and material from the current and next generation of pollution, the cause of many damaging events and get to the point of saturation.
The most talented power against the natural resource is supposed to be the electric and solar energy that best suit the automobiles. The unadulterated solar and solar energy from zero, is the only easily accessible alternate source. Hence we decided to incorporate electric energy into the automotive field, the concept of many multinationals (MNC) and get relief from the pollution of incorrigible air.
This concept of implementation has been tried with the best two-wheeled bicycle. The various simple arrangements made for the good driving conditions of the SOLAR driven bicycle with its most needed specifications were summarized in this report.


This solar bike is a two-in-one system. It is operating both conditions. They are,
1. Using Normal Pedal
2. By means of the SOLAR motor drive system.

The operation of the SOLAR motor drive mechanism is explained below. The principle of system operation begins with SOLAR connections. In SOLAR there are two terminals. One is the positive terminal and the other is the negative terminal. The wire connections were made for the flow of electrons from one part to another part. When the motor is energized through the current, the field coil of the stator is magnetized and induces the rotor shaft to rotate counterclockwise. At the end of the motor shaft, the relevant conditions for setting the pinion assembly were made. The sprocket chain arrangement is a power transmission device, which gives the drive to the rear wheel.


1. No Fuel cost.
2. No pollution and no fuel residues
3. Easy start
4. Less wear and tear because there are no alternative parts
5. Lubrication is not necessary
6. Both conditions will be executed (manual pedaling, SOLAR operation).


1. Solar must be charged periodically
2. Not suitable for long trips
3. Not applicable for heavy loads until the proper power source and power unit
